Taja holds an MBA in Sustainable Management from Presidio School of Management. At Ecohome Improvement, Taja is the head of marketing, sales training, product selection, and customer experience. She began her career balancing business priorities with environmental issues while developing social and environmental supply chain initiatives at Hewlett Packard.
Founder & Managing Partner
With degrees in Molecular Biology and Pharmacy from the University of Berlin, Germany, Nina has spent 20 years engaged in improving human health and the natural environment. At Ecohome Improvement, Nina is the head of finance, operations, and human resources. Prior to starting Ecohome Improvement, Nina enjoyed a career as a Research Scientist.
Sr. Kitchen Designer
Onyx studied Architecture in Florence Italy in 2001 and received her degree in Architecture from California State Polytechnic University in 2003. She has 8 years of experience in both large and small scale architecture and interior design with a specialization in space planning and millwork design.
Sr. Flooring Consultant
Monti has a degree in Industrial Design from Georgia Tech. She has 12 years of experience as a kitchen designer and green flooring expert.
Design Studio Associate
Maia has degrees in Hydrology and Earth System Science which help her see the sustainable side in all the design work she does. Here at Ecohome Maia runs the Design Studio where she can help you with you kitchen or bathroom cabinets, counters and tile.
Paint Bar Associate
Josh has a degree in sound engineering from SF State University. However, here at Ecohome Improvement he uses his extensive experience in the paint and coatings industry, managing the Paint Bar and helping customers find the perfect product for their project.
Paloma is a multi-media fine artist. She lives and works in Berkeley, California. Paloma is our resident color designer, and you can find her at the Paint Bar helping visualize your home in color.
Nuka is the elusive night watch cat. On the rare occasion that she makes an appearance she likes to have a human groom her. She also likes to tell the story of the time she was locked in an abandoned house for 60-days and survived only on her catch. She can be found in the attic at Ecohome keeping watch.
All Around Helper
At an early age Roo discovered that heading cows in San Bernadino’s cattle country was not a fitting job for her. In fact, all the ranch hands and rancher agreed. She was laid off that job at only 4-months old and sent to a cattle dog rescue agency. Today, she can be found herding humans at Ecohome Improvement.
